PC ASSEMBLE
REFLECTION
During the PC assembly activity, I was provided with valuable insights about computer hardware. Through the hands-on experience, I was exposed to different components of the PC, such as the motherboard, CPU fan, RAM, HDD, power supply, and many more. This activity gave me a chance to identify all those components correctly and know where to connect them on the PC.
Through this practical activity, I learned how to reassemble and assemble a PC too. It was a rewarding experience as I went through all the processes, from identifying and sorting each component to carefully connecting the components and cables. This lab activity has also left me with a sense of accomplishment as my team successfully powered on the PC that we had assembled together.
In addition, this PC assembly activity also attracted me to explore the world of computer hardware more to understand how different hardware and its components work. In short, this activity is undoubtedly a precious experience to deepen my understanding of computer hardware, which is one of the main components of an information system. In fact, this lab activity also had a powerful impact on the course, as I could enhance my skills through the course's activities, such as attention to detail and teamwork, which are crucial to becoming a professional in this IT field in the future.
